Shaheed Fida Baloch was a courageous Baloch nationalist leader who devoted his life to fighting for the rights of the Baloch people. He was born on July 14, 1957, in the Kahan area of Balochistan, Pakistan. Fida Baloch was the youngest of his six siblings.
Fida Baloch started his political career at a young age, joining the Baloch Students Organization (BSO) in 1973. He was a dedicated student leader and played an instrumental role in organizing the Baloch students' movement against the oppressive policies of the Pakistani state. Fida Baloch went on to become the president of the BSO in 1980.
In 1981, Fida Baloch was arrested and imprisoned for his political activism. He spent two years in jail, during which time he was subjected to torture and abuse. After his release in 1983, Fida Baloch resumed his political activities, this time as a member of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF).
Fida Baloch's activism took him to Afghanistan, where he met with other Baloch nationalists and sought support for the Balochistan cause. It was during this time that he met the person who left this message. Fida Baloch was killed on May 2, 1988, in a battle with the Pakistani military near Turbat, Balochistan.
Fida Baloch's legacy lives on, and he continues to inspire Baloch nationalists to this day. He is remembered as a brave and selfless leader who gave his life for the cause of Baloch rights. The people of Balochistan hold him in high regard and honor his sacrifice as a martyr.
